Kate Feinstein was born on March 2, 1990 in Moscow, Russia. Her family moved to America when she was only 2 years old. She grew up speaking both Russian and English, and is fluent in both. She has always been an active child, dancing ballet and jazz, playing soccer, then gymnastics and finally finding her favorite sport, competitive cheerleading. Kate cheered for Cheerz Cheerleading Gym in Bountiful for about 6 years, winning countless regional, state and national competitions with her amazing team and solo stunt group. Kate is very proud of her accomplishments as a member of the Cheerz family, and is very grateful to have been a part of it. It has shaped and molded her into the young lady she is today and highly recommends the program for everyone.
Kate has an amazing family. She is the proud daughter of Dmitry and Elena Feinstein, sister of Lesya and Dasha Feinstein, and an awesome aunt to T.J., Thomas and baby Gracie. They are all so supportive in everything she does. Kate lives in Centerville, Utah, right in the middle of the little town. She is a senior this year at Viewmont High School, go Vikes! However she is spending a lot of her high school career in early college at Salt Lake Community College. She is currently working on her Associate degree of Applied Science, majoring in Cosmetology and Barbering. She plans on finishing her requirements for the Associate around the same time she graduates high school, and moving on to do Master Esthetics and someday work together with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon.
Kate is a very hard working and motivated individual. She is also a huge fan of ALL food. She is very open-minded and loves trying new things. She loves all kinds of music and movies. She’s a fun girl to be around, and is always making someone laugh with her crazy jokes and bubbly personality. She also loves going to the gym and working out; physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle is very important to Kate. This year’s MISS UTAH TEEN USA® pageant was Kate’s very first pageant. She worked very hard to prepare for it and was very proud representing Centerville City in the competition. She feels extremely blessed to have participated. Not only did she win a crown, she won a boost of confidence, tons of new friends, wonderful memories and an awesome opportunity to represent the great state of Utah. Kate is very excited for this year, and hopes to accomplish a lot with her title. She can’t wait to go to Nationals! A special thanks goes out to all her sponsors, friends and family. She couldn’t have done it without all of your support!
